Bringing Party Favors to Hell

Thanks, everyone, for the vibes. Unfortunately the surgery ended up getting postponed until next week, due to someone else's surgery running much longer than expected, so I'll bank these vibes for next week. :) (Yes, mom was cranky, since she was all psyched up for it, not to mention that she had to fast and hadn't had any liquids for hours and was lying around in a lovely backless hospital shift for ages before they finally decided to postpone it. Then we took her and got her some dinner and a glass of wine and she was able to be much cheerier about it.)
