My almost-83-year-old mother is going in to have back surgery (a spinal fusion) this afternoon, so if y'all could spare some vibes for her to have a complication-free and successful surgery/recovery, I'd be very grateful!

Sending good thoughts for successful surgery and an easy recovery. My mom had a double fusion in her neck a couple of years ago, and I was surprised by how quickly she recovered -- I hope it's the same for your mom.
