This latest Windows Update is driving me mad (yes, you Maccers may point and jeer now). It works fine on every work computer I've installed it on, but my little laptop at home which is my only home computer? Nope. I've tried twice now, and after I install it, I can't access email or the web, so I have to do a system restore to before I installed it. Then the little ! shield keeps nagging me to reinstall it. Grr. Now I am going to have to go fishing on the MS website to see if I can find a reference to the issue and what to do with it.

Wish me luck, I'm going in.

eta: looks like a Zone Alarm conflict: They've posted a fix:

I just installed the latest Windows Updates (3 restarts!) and now my LJ friendslist is insisting on displaying in italics. I find this very annoying but can't seem to make it stop. I've checked my font options in Firefox, and my font selections on my LJ and everything looks normal, yet I keep getting italics. Anyone else run across this problem and figure out how to fix it?
