I found a new use for ID Millennium Lube. :)
Recently we bought a bird feeder and it has supplied endless hours of Cat TV for our wee beastie, Riku. He's a indoor cat, so he sits by the patio door and fantasizes about having brief but meaningful relationships with all the pretty little feathery beings. Unfortunately the squirrels learned fairly rapidly how to climb the pole and get at the feeder, which scares away the finches, plus the squirrels spill the feed all over and make a mess as well as eating way too much of it.
However, I noticed the other day when it rained that when the pole was wet they couldn't climb it, they kept sliding down. So today I got tired of chasing them off the feeder and went and got a bottle of ID Millennium silicone-based personal lubricant and lubed up the pole.
Voila.
Now the little suckers can't get a grip on it. :D

*cackle* Now you have to take videos of the squirrels in action. I would imagine the results would be much like my brother's kitty trying to climb up the carpeted stairway walls for the first time after being declawed...

They grab onto the pole and boost with their back legs and go up about six inches and then slide right back down again. The epitome of squirrelish frustration. ;)
