kelliem: flower in the desert (hope)

You know, as a pagan I don't believe in hell, but I'd almost be willing to start if those terrorists in Beslan were guaranteed to burn in it.

those people have generated some seriously bad karma which will affect them later.

Yes, exactly. For those of us who are pagan, there is a similar concept-- the "Threefold Law" (Meg referred to it). Whatever energy you put out into the universe, you will get it back in kind, threefold. So whatever good you do returns three-times good, and whatever bad you do returns three-times bad.

Let's hope this won't result in more bloody fighting.

I fervently hope you are right.

That concept is something I can adhere (right word?) to, it looks like a law of nature, like I guess the karma principle is. And it reminded me of philosophers through the times (but it's in the middle of the night here, so my mind refuses to co-operate *g*)I'm so glad to hear this, we need to work harder to show people how it could be!
Bloody fighting - I never could understand how the killing of innocents in any way can make the world better, I just can't see it. And I know what they use for an excuse - for the greater good, etc etc. But...but?
