They're cleaning the carpet in the room next to my office and this whole end of the building reeks of carpet-cleaner and ammonia. Urgh. I'm sure you all wanted to know that but I needed to bitch. ;-D
I'm glad, really. Cause did you want to be stuck at your current job for . . . how many years to come? Sometimes it's worth it to take a chance just for the change!
I admit that chemicals are worse than the olfactory challenge I face at the moment: burned microwave popcorn. But that is noxious enough. Why some people here can't seem to figure out how to perform this simple task is beyond me.
Probably the same persons who heat tomato-sauced products until it spatters in the machine and leave it to bake on. If Patriot Act surveillance could just ID these people for us, this would be one small benefit in an otherwise depressing situation. :/

What did you decide about the job? Or haven't you yet?

The job. Gurh. I guess I'm going to go for it. I'm probably out of my mind, but...
well...
you all knew that already.

I'm with you about the smell of burned popcorn though. Ick.
