And yes, I *did* like it. A *lot* (...and you know what? You were right: I did read it before...or at least the first half of it, which I remembered by the time I reached page three. *g*)

And, yeah, they pretty much decimated the cast. The one plus is that in a show like Carnivale you never know if someone is really dead or not. Kinda like X-Files. :)
