Finally got to see The Return of the King today, and was very, very impressed. I think I spent at least half the movie with tears in my eyes. And frankly, what was left out, I did not miss, even though I am a huge fan of the original novel(s). And may I just say that Billy Boyd has a lovely voice? That scene (no spoilers) was incredibly poignant.

In other news, the housemate heartily approved of Mikage so the only hurdle left is the landlord, but we have 1 cat okayed on the lease so I don't think it will be a problem. *knock wood* And today we remembered to take the digital camera to the shelter with us and got a pic: Look here: to see him.

Ain't he sweet? :-)

Oh my god, he's adorable! And he's letting you hold him on his back and pet his tummy. He trusts you!

He's gorgeous!

And yeah, Billy Boyd does have a good voice*g*. Not as good as Paul Gross' though ;)
