Being lazy and copying from my comment in rustler's journal: You know, I have to root for Hosea because he's from my town, and he's done some decent stuff. However, I agree with rustler that the whole Hosea/Leah thing was a huge turn-off and I wish it hadn't happened. (Although, so, it seems, to they!). I couldn't help thinking of Jeff as "Chase" because he looks exactly like him. I do think he was too hard on himself. A lot of people like that uber-complicated style of cooking so I'm sure he will find his niche.

I have to admit, though, that I LOATHE Stephan with a mighty loathing and wish he'd gone home instead of Jeff. Not that that was going to happen. Man, what an ASSHOLE! At least he finally got taken down a tiny peg.

In other news, I'm taking my mom in for her surgery (spinal/disc fusion) in a couple of hours. I've got all y'all's vibes stored up for use today, so I know it will go well.

Jeff wuz robbed. It's obvious Fabio should have gone home, but apparently TPTB think he's better television.

It's hard to know-- supposedly their past performance does not count in who goes home on any given ep, but Fabio has had more successes over all than Jeff did, so I wonder if that counted against him in the end?

And they say that the producers don't influence the judges but I don't really believe that.

I also thought Jeff was Chase's doppleganger. Heee. It was cute, as was the fact that everytime they showed his name and restaurant on the screen, Joel and I would hoot over the Dildo Beach Club. *snerk*

I actually had kinda hoped Fabio would go home, but it seems Jeff has been warned several times about overdoing things, so I guess he had his chances.

I'm so happy Carla won! She's a kick and I can so relate about her putting love in her food. I'm a mush!

Still thinking good thoughts on the surgery being a huge success!

I think having to give him 11 pills a day is harder on me than it is on him. Heh.

I liked Jeff and respected him for not changing his style of cooking just to win. Stefan is a huge ass but he's also a very talented chef. Which doesn't mean I wasn't very happy to see him go down in flames for once. I know he won't go home any time soon, but I'll do a little Scooby dance when he does. I usually like Fabio well enough, but man...when he argues with the judges like that it drives me crazy.

By now you're mom is hopefully out of surgery and everything went well. I'll keep her in my thoughts for a speedy recovery and keep you in my thoughts since I know how tough a job it is to sit in a hospital waiting room.
