Inauguration Day

It says a lot about the last 8 years that I am afraid to hope, but despite that, I feel a stirring of that emotion as I watch the inauguration events on streaming video (Hulu's Fox News stream seems to have the clearest feed, so that's what I'm watching despite not being a big fan of Fox News). There's a long, hard row to hoe ahead, but for the first time in a long time, I think we might just manage to turn things around. Good Luck, Mr. Obama.

I feel the same way. It makes me all edgy and unsure, but it's a big improvement over the gloom I've felt the last 8 years.

I'm trying to temper the hope with the realization of just how much WORK there is ahead, but ... yeah. ;D
