Oh, Mohinder, you're so pretty and so gullible. *sigh* Don't you think it's just a tad coincidental that you show up with your creepy-weird new friend and within a few hours, someone's dead?

Great episode over all though. Wow. I felt so badly for Hiro, but he really does love Ando and can't bear to see him hurt. And go Claire, standing up to your dad like that! And Matt has hooked up with Ted and Hannah. It will be very interesting to see where that goes.

Can't say I was particularly distressed to see Simone go. I never cared much for her and if someone had to go (and it wasn't Jessica/Nikki) then she's the one who I'll miss least. Interestingly, her death means Peter's dream/vision can't happen the way he saw it, since she was in it.

Also... if the DNA tattoo is from the radioactive isotope Bennett used to tag the genetic mutants, how does that work with Jessica/Nikki, since Nikki has it and Jessica doesn't but they are supposedly (or so we have been led to believe) the same person.

In other news, apparently I did not pay as much attention in HS as [livejournal.com profile] bethbethbeth did, but I did pay enough attention to get the same phrasing on my results. :)

You paid attention during 91% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don't get scores that high! Good show, old chap!

I wish the test showed where you scored low, because I'd be willing to bet it was math. :)

The Mohinder storyline was fantastic. Finally the guy gets something interesting. And the boy is gullible, but it feels believable, not like the big plot set-up that it is.

When Hiro was leaving Ando, I wanted Ando to insist on going with Hiro so badly. Sadly, I have a feeling he *will* follow Hiro, and somehow be inadvertently killed in the process. For which Hiro will never forgive himself, superhero angst will ensue, and Hiro will become the Hiro of the future that we saw.

Did you catch the Stan Lee played the bus driver for Hiro's bus?

Chris Eccleston, come back!

Yes, it does feel believable, because despite the fact that WE know Sylar is supremely creepy, he's done a decent job of lying about it.

I hope you're wrong about Ando, but I fear you may be right. Wah!

And yes, I loved the Stan Lee cameo.

Do you know how many eps Chris Eccleston is contracted for?

According to IMDB, he has two more. Gawds, I pray that doesn't mean Sylar gets him somehow. I hope there are more and IMDB just hasn't been updated yet. *gulp*

Speaking of Chris, this was also on his IMDB:

New Orleans, Mon Amour (2008) (post-production) .... Dr. Jekyll

Squee!

OMG!! You didn't mention the entry above that one!!
The Dark Is Rising (2007) (filming) .... The Rider

I didn't know they were making TDIR into a movie! That's one of my all-time favorite books and weirdly, I just re-read the series a few weeks ago. He's going to be fantastic in that part! I hope they don't HarryPotterize it though.

As far as NOMA, that looks interesting. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Dr.J/Mr.H thing I expected it to, though. http://www.neworleansmonamour.com/NOMAonesheetback.pdf

This is definitely a book series I need to check out. I've been in the mood for something, and I just got a library card for the library (at the end of my driveway omg! I checked out the movie Cars to watch while I assemble my new pantry) so I should go check it out.

Wow, fantastic to have the library so close!!

Keep in mind, TDIR is actually a Young Adult series. The first book is actually more for children, so often it's left out of the sequence. The full sequence is:

Over Sea, Under Stone
The Dark is Rising
Greenwitch
The Grey King
Silver on the Tree

Cool, thank you. I'm not above young reader books -- I'm still following the young reader Jedi series (geez, it's insane how slashy it is -- there's even a gay canon pairing). Knowing they're young reader books will help me to find them in the library.

There are some slashy overtones to TDIR in spots, too. Or at least some people seem to think so. :)
