In completely unrelated news, I just started reading David Weber's "Off Armageddon Reef" and even though I am only about 10 pages into the main body of the novel (i.e., past the setup section) I already want to hunt down David Weber, find his computer keyboard and disable his "Y" and "Z" keys. The book has 4 stars on Amazon, so hopefully I will be able to stifle (or should that be zhtyfle?) my annoyance with this little stylistic quirk and get through it. (I see that one of the amazon reviewers hated the y/z thing too. I understand Weber's probably trying to show language evolution but really, it's just frakking annoying.)

bluster is coming up to see it with me next week. I suspect going to see it twice won't be a problem.
Also (also also!) calling someone a bird-brain might be a compliment. (I've always liked corvids!)
