I got my Stargate: Atlantis Season 1 DVDs in the mail today! Yay! They are nicely packaged, single-sided DVDs and they have extras! Lots of them from the looks of things. Actor, writer, director, stunt coordinator -- you name it commentaries, and Mission Directives, and photo galleries, Rainbow's diary, something about Wraith Discrimination... LOTS of goodies!

This is going to be fun. :)

Now - what I really need to know - (if you're so inclined) - the goodies - do you know if they're any different from the ones on the UK DVDs? (I got those early in the summer).

I'm ready to buy these if there are extra extras

If you could just let me know what extras are on disk 1, that might save me money or make me spend more. ::g::

I have no idea if they're the same as the Euro ones, but this is what's on Disk 1:

Set tour with Martin Wood & Peter Deluise. Some Seinfeld preview (WTF?) and something called Ringers: Lord of the Fans Music (WTF2?). Then there are audio commentaries on each of the 3 eps -- The Rising with Joe Flanigan and Martin Wood, Hide and Seek with Rachel Luttrell, Tori Higginson & Paul McGillion, and 38 Minutes with Rachel Luttrell & Paul McGillion. There is also a production design and photo gallery, but I can't seem to get that to work on my computer.

Thanks, Kellie - I think the US release may have extra extras. I don't see any commentaries in my UK version.

I'm so jealous that you've gotten yours already!

I've been tracking my order on Amazon all day, and unless I get some really good luck, given where they currently are and past ordering experiences, I'm not so sure that they're going to arrive tomorrow. Which makes me sad, because I really want to watch all of the extras you've mentioned. They sound fabulous.
