My desktop is located behind a cut because it is SO VERY NOT WORKSAFE!!!!!!

Explanations...I got the image from [livejournal.com profile] sithdragn who was kind enough to make it into a desktop, and it just needed to be used. :)

I know I'm not supposed to be looking at this part, but the faces on those guys are gorgeous.

And yeah, thanks for the worksafe warning. That might have been a bad scene in many workplaces. *G*

Yes, they are gorgeous. That's why they're my desktop. For the faces. *koff* Absolutely.

Pity they're doing that filthy sex thing. :::shudder::::

Wow. How do you get any work done with that background? Although, I guess it might be inspirational...

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

It is inspirational. And you know, sadly, when you have your word-processing program up, it completely blocks the desktop.

However, frequent minimizing takes care of that. ;-D

Good Grief!

::blinks::

You manage to do *any* work at all on that computer?!

And if you get stuck you can minimise your wordprocessor and get inspired ... or distracted ... whichever works.

(Now I have to go back through all your fic and see if I can spot any wallpaper inspired scenes. Now there's a hardship!)

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

Hee! I haven't had this wallpaper long enough for it to have shown up in my fic. Though a previous one has. ;D

BTW, what is that item in your icon? It's clearly some sort of plant but I can NOT figure out what.

According to my in-laws (who took the photo) it's an Armado. According to my dad and my local supermarket it's a Romanescu (no, that's not right ... something like that). It's a cabbage which is green and spikey.

Gods! Look at the blond and brown hair - it reminds me of Illy...yeah sure ;-D
Guh, I wish I could have that one on my job pc for a day and watched the faces of my collegues when they spotted it! Not that I don't love my perfectly worksafe IK/NS desktop, but still...

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

Yeah, the blond/brown combo fits two of my favorite combinations, so I just have to squint a little. :) And this is definitely my HOME desktop. My work one is an automated rotation of images from Webshots and it much more worksafe. :)

From: [identity profile] sensine.livejournal.com

Definitely two great pairings there, yes!
Thanks for the link!
I also - at work - have a screensaver that rotates my photo file with mostly worksafe pictures. I was so happy when I discovered that was possible to do!

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

It is really nice, isn't it? And I really like Webshots. I have the free version but there are more than enough gorgeous images you don't have to pay for so I don't feel like I am missing anything.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous picture.

*stares some more*

The blond reminds me a little of Callum Keith Rennie...

It is gorgeous. I wish I knew who the artist was. If anyone knows, drop a comment please!

And, yeah. :-)

Oh. My.

Well, that woke me up better than my second cup of coffee. *g*

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

Always happy to help wake up a friend. Nice to work at home, eh? ;-D

From: [identity profile] crysothemis.livejournal.com

Holy smokes!

(Crys attempts to pick jaw up from floor. Gives up and sends for a backhoe.)

If that were on my desktop, I wouldn't be able to see straight. Much less think.

Gorgeous, though. ;-)

Am I really the only person on my flist with porn on their desktop?

I must be more perverted than I thought. :)

From: [identity profile] crysothemis.livejournal.com

Well, as an original, card-carrying member of the Committee on Innocent Lust (you know, the kind of person who notices earlobes and fingers when Other Body Parts are quite visible), I'm sure I'm not representative of the crowd.

But seriously, it would never occur to me to put porn on my desktop. Not that I don't like looking at it (er, quite the opposite, actually -- I confess to having taken several lovely long looks at your desktop today). And I have plenty of porn on my hard drive. It just wouldn't end up where I'd see it every day.

So I must be more inhibited than I thought. :)

To be fair, your younguns are pretty young, too. Mine is nearly 21 and likes the same sort of things I do. ;D

So I'm a little behind...

This is a picture I took of Lake Superior near sunrise about a year and a half ago. The water and the wave crest really are pinkish. I can't really have anything fannish because I use my laptop so heavily at work and have very little privacy. *g*

From: [identity profile] kelliem.livejournal.com

Oh, that's lovely. You've really got a good eye. I understand about the privacy thing. If I used my laptop at work, you can be sure it would not have gay smut on it. ;D
