Three years

Thinking of all the lives changed forever in an instant. Not just the ones in the Towers, or the Pentagon, but in the wars we have fought since then, and in the many freedoms we have all lost.

I hope three years from now I am not looking back on today and thinking how much better it was 'back then,' but I very much fear I will be.
