First day of the semester, things are nuts, and of course I can't get Excel to do what I need it to do. Anyone here know of a way to tell Excel to start numbering rows after the header row instead of with the header row?

I do it in a kind of low-tech way -- put my "1" where I want it and then just edit-fill-series ... in that column. There's another way? Cool.

My low-tech way - if you make a column with numbers in it first, and fill down with a series (incrementing by 1) it works.
