kelliem: icy lakefront sunrise (sub)
([personal profile] kelliem Jun. 9th, 2004 07:57 am)
I just figured I should post this here, too, since some folks aren't on [livejournal.com profile] muncle. I've uploaded two stories for a friend of mine with very limited internet access. Both NC-17 NS/IK. You can find them at:

http://www.chromeandgunmetal.com/chrome/archive/0/leather.html
and
http://www.chromeandgunmetal.com/chrome/archive/0/paperwork.html

I happen to think they both kick serious butt. ;)

"Leather" is just. . .guh. Hot and actually quite moving. Please pass my congratulations on to your friend.

And dammit, now my sex scenes feel rather pallid in comparison.

Leather

So mysterious.

First of all, Shay, I love the steering wheel in Illya's uncertain hands. I think we chose the same eyeballs--darting where?

Second, I loved "Leather" (couldn't find the other story) but who is behind it? There is so much I could comment upon but not if the author won't see it. Enough, for now, to say I found it poignant and on target. The characterizations were so close to how I see them, so close I not only wished I had written it (or could write it) but I also thought I would never bother writing if I could read such. I'd rather read than write. Thanks for posting it.

He'll be able to see the comments that are left at the archive, but replying is another matter. I will also let him know if people leave comments with me.

Your Illya

Um, why does your pix of Illya have a mullet, a big nose and a swarthy complexion. I think you need to watch some episodes, girl!

Again, thanks for posting the two stories--I really enjoyed them.

Re: Your Illya

I defy you not to call David's nose big. :) The mullet is because I couldn't find one that sticks out like the back of his. And he's not always pasty. I can think of several eps where he was nicely tanned.

Leather and Paperwork

Thank you for posting these - what a treat! They were beautifully written. I loved the use of smell, particularly in 'Leather'. I personally think this is a very underrated sense considering it is so evocative. Please pass on my congratulations and ask your friend to give us more!

Re: Leather and Paperwork

I was very happy to post them-- I thought they deserved a wider audience than me. :)
