It's funny. I know astrology shouldn't work. I know all about precession, and all the other great scientific reasons why astrology shouldn't work. But tonight, after reading a week's worth of posts on my flist filled with misunderstandings and misspeaking, and after having tons of communication issues both at work and at home, I got curious and Googled "Mercury retrograde 2009" and... bingo! Mercury went retrograde on January 11th. It'll go direct on February 1st. I may go hide under a blanket until then.

So, that's what's going on. I saw mention of it earlier but didn't pay attention. My teenagers have gone nuts.

I never believed a full moon brought out the crazies before working in retail. Around the full moon you could always be assured that at least one person would be walking out the door with a crystal bowl under their shirt.

*goes to find own blanket to hide under*

::nods:: Science says one thing, but personal experience says something entirely different.

LOL. Mercury retrograde *always* screws with my life. My ruling planet? Mercury. What planet is prominent in my chart? Mercury.

So of course I apply for a *major* job while the retrograde is in full effect. ::sigh::

On another note - happy new year and how the heck are you? :)

Well, with that much Mercury prominent in your chart, then wouldn't it stand to reason that it would be a positive influence for you?

I'm good, just boring as a boring thing.
