Odd question

I'm hoping that someone on my flist knows the answer to this. There's a certain acoustic phenomenon that occurs in a room with a domed ceiling (I think it can also occur between two widely-spaced vertical concave surfaces) wherein conversations from across the room can be heard as clearly as a conversation taking place inches away. Does anyone know the name of this phenomenon? I'm pretty sure it has one, but I can't figure out how to google it.

Something completely different

I found a little gem via a Holmes/Watson comm I am a member of. It's not really slashy in and of itself (maybe just a hint) but it's a very different take on fanfic, and I found it quite compelling. It's called Sub Rosa, by prof_pangaea.
