It's not often that nature so perfectly emulates a disembodied character from a film.
In other news, I got my Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Imps (sample-size vials of their scent oils) today! All 12 of them! Of course I had to try one out right away, I chose Moscow. I am not usually a big fan of florals but this one is gorgeous, The florals were slightly more predominant when I first put it on, but after about 10 minutes the amber, bergamot, musk and tangerine notes balanced the rose, carnation, jasmine & lily of the valley perfectly. Usually I can pick out the notes, especially the base note, in a perfume but this blends so well on my skin that I really can't identify the individual notes. It has a very lush, rich scent, but is not overpowering, even though it is still distinctly 'present' 3 hours after application. I can hardly wait to try the rest of them, but will have to restrict myself to one a day so as not to be a) obnoxious to friends and family and b) actually manage to smell something.
eta: I'm starting to be able to pick out notes-- it's faded down to mostly amber and jasmine at the moment, with a hint of carnation
( here's the rest of what I got: )
I think Nocnitsa is the next one up.
Oh, and today was my first full day back at work. I feel great. A little tired, but that's normal. I got a lot done, too. It was rather nice to see that I was missed. :-)
