kelliem: flower in the desert (hope)

I just got a call from my brother. My SIL was supposed to take my mom to the doc tomorrow for a cortisone shot for her back, and my SIL called Mom this morning to confirm times, and Mom was acting very confused and having problems remembering things that just happened. We're worried it could have been a mild stroke, though it could just be that she doubled up on her pain meds without realizing it (she's done that before, with similar results.) They're going to take her to the doctor and get her checked out, but I probably won't hear anything for hours.

If y'all could spare some vibes for her that it's just a meds problem and not a stroke, I would appreciate it.

I'm sending lots and lots of good thoughts in her direction. It sounds like there's a good chance it could be the meds. *hugs*

Oh, honey!

Definitely sending out hopes to the universe re: meds vs stroke for your mom.

Sending good vibes too.

My Mom is getting drifty these days but at 78 I guess you've got every right to.

((((hugs to you and your mom!)))

Thank you! Mom's 82, and usually sharp as a tack, but yeah, at that age you';re definitely allowed. ;D

We lost my Gramma, her Mom last November. It's our 1st anniversary of being without her. Gramma was 95 and had a great life.

I don't think my Mom has it in her to make it to 95. I dunno. It's weird to consider being an orphan at this advanced point in my life? but it's there.

Beaming good health vibes to your Mom too~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ =)
