I am minding the front desk today and can't get any real work done so that means more spam! ;D

Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done.
See if anybody else responds with "I've done that".
Ask your friends do this in their journals to see what unique things they've done.

1) Been taken by Mike-boat to swim in a lagoon on Bigej island.

2) Explored the ruins of Nan Madol.

3) Posed in a Lwaxanna Troi costume for a newspaper article on Trekkies/Trekkers and other SciFi fen.

Too cool! I certainly haven't done ANY of those, especially #1 and #2. What a fantastic adventure those must have been.

(one of my cousins was stationed at Kwajalein so I at least know where it is ;) and I still have the t-shirt he brought me.)

I did dress up like a narc back in the early 70's for a hippie halloween party. It was great fun ;) totally freaked out all my stoned friends ;)

I just now saw this reply! I guess LJ didn't bother to notify me. Grr.

I was just a little kid when we lived at Kwaj, andwhen we went to Nan Madol, but I remember both vividly. I'm amazed you know where Kwaj is! Hardly anyone does. :)

The narc costume sounds like a blast. ;D

I too thought it was cool to hear/read someone else who knew about Kwaj... and you *lived* there?! WOW! That's even cooler! and pretty remote! :-o

I knew about Kwaj just because of the missile testing/tracking site (I was into thing like that)... then cousin Don got attached there as part of the security contingent.

He got to ride in an F-14 (I think that's the one) from Hawaii to Kwaj on one of his deployments. He said it about blew his eyebrows off and was one of the most exciting rides of his life =) (I've been forever envious!)
