Dr. Who 4x10 Midnight

Wow.

Just... wow. I didn't think RTD could write that well. I suppose it's possible that the acting lifted an average script, but I don't really think so. That was genuinely frightening, in a way similar to Blink from last season. Well done to everyone concerned.

I've seen Lesley Sharp (the actress who played Skye Silvestry) before, in a few eps of a fascinating series called Afterlife, and she wowed me there as well as here. Looking at the IMDB I see she was also in The Full Monty, as well as a lot of other things. She's really got some chops.

I have to say this years Dr. Who hasn't done it for me, but "Midnight" is the exception. It was an excellent episode, tense, well-acted, and scary. The people scared me more than the alien. Eeep!
