Some years back (good grief, has it really been twelve years??) I was a fan of a short-lived show called Space: Above & Beyond and in particular the incredibly intense James Morrison in the role of Colonel Tyrus Cassius McQueen (some of you may be more familiar with Morrison's current role of Bill Buchanan on 24.) Recent discussions in
thisisbone's journal reminded me how much I liked the show and I dug out my DVDs and started watching them, which led to my wanting a McQueen icon (see above), which led to me doing a Google Images search which led to me finding this page on his official site.

Oh just go look. You won't regret it, I think, unless you're phobic about really flexible people.

And YES I loved S:A&B because of McQueen. What a cool character he was.

Loved, loved, loved S:AAB and James Morrison.
The yoga pics - uhm, wow?
I think I need to schedule some time to re-watch that show.

Wow is right, too. And you should definitely rewatch it. I've been doing that. It holds up very well (other than the usual sci-fi show problems like sound traveling in vacuum, etc.)

*sigh*
I'm going to add both Morrison's books to my Amazon wishlist. I'm very intrigued by the play, especially given the Alaskan setting, and I love discovering new poets.
I wonder if my folks have worked with him. It would depend on when he was in Alaska, I guess.
