Any classical music mavens on my flist? Kidunit was playing a song from the NausicaƤ soundtrack, and I mentioned that part of it was sampled from a very famous piece of classical music... but then of course I can't for the life of me remember just what the name/composer of the piece actually is. The Nausicaa piece is at mediafire here if any of you want to take a listen and try to ID it for me.
ETA: The piece I am trying to ID is definitely a classical piece, not from a musical and not a popular tune. You really can only hear that part that triggers my "I know that" button for the first few seconds of the recording, before the full piece kicks in.

tigs managed to figure it out. It's the Sarabande from Handel's Suite No. 11 in D Minor. There's a clip of Inagaki Minoru playing a guitar version of it on Youtube if you're curious.
