WTF?

I haven't really been on LJ in about a week because I've been sick as a dog, but today I was feeling better and sat down to scroll through a few hundred posts and discovered that LJ has just randomly reset my style. I was running a customized version of Smooth Sailing and suddenly it's gone and I am running some ugly-ass generic blue thing. Should I try to recreate my old style (next to impossible, I don't remember all the settings!) or is this something that will eventually fix itself?

It's a known issue with some of the customised S2 styles, there's some info about it at http://www.livejournal.com/support/ (which says: If you have noticed your S2 style has changed, please do not change any of your customization settings, as your journal may revert back to your original layout on its own. If your layout does not return after three hours, you can re-select your layout and theme layers in the Journal Display area. If it does not return after that, please contact Support.)

UGH! Did it resolve? It doesn't look like it to me. But I am on a different browser here. *g*

No, it never resolved. I went in and futzed around and got something similar to what I had before but it's not the same. Grrr.
