Six random facts about me

My excitement for the day, since I already voted {and if you are eligible to and haven't done so yet, GO DO IT!) is that the housemate is treating me to a belated birthday-dinner tonight at Jazzy's Crab Shack which has all-you-can-eat crab on Tuesday nights. I used to get snow crab until I tried the Dungeness, which I now realize is far superior. :)

And now, since I was tagged by cedara I am listing six random facts about myself

1) I have acrophobia and claustrophobia, which makes it really hard to go see an Avs game at the Pepsi Center. :) (The acrophobia I have always had but I developed the claustrophobia-- and a nice case of PTSD-- a couple of years ago after getting 2 un-drugged MRIs.)

2) I only have one lung. The left one was removed when I was 21 because it was dead and gangrenous (a benign tumor had blocked the left main-stem bronchus and killed the lung.)

3) My friends all called me "Mom" even before I really was one.

4) I have been to England twice.

5) I have never lived by myself. I have either lived with family, an SO, or a house-mate my entire life. Someday I would like to try it.

6) I once trained a betta (Fin MacCool) to jump out of the water and take his food off a toothpick. Sadly he was killed when the bookshelf his tank was on randomly fell over and his tank broke. :-(

Ever since, as a child, I spent an entire traveling road trip studying the crazed design that some object made upon impact of a small window, I have been certain that at some point I will have cancer.. Something about the very randomness of the craze on the safety glass..and it grew..
