I can't say I disagree that Angela should have gone, because yeah, she really isn't so much a designer as she is an embellisher. Those shorts... yikes! I am a huge fan of silk-linen blends but what she made out of it was just uuuuuugly. What was with the weird quilting pattern across the rear crotch that made it look like she'd sat in something, and then there were the damned ass-rosettes. *shakes head* However, it just seemed unwontedly cruel to fly her to Paris just to send her home. Not to mention a huge waste of money, not that they care about that. And Kayne, who started out being one of my favorites is quickly making me wonder what's gotten into him. He looked like a technicolor sausage casing.
However, that said, Jeffrey continues to be an asshole of truly biblical proportions. Get. Over. Your. Self. You are not the shit. You are just a shit. I really, truly hope he crashes and burns before the end because no one that nasty, mean, vicious and cruel deserves to win anything. What a flaming cretin.

And I don't know what's up with Kayne; he's a darling, but he's getting to be a bit out there. He so looked like Elvis, and not even good Elvis. Scary, late-70s Elvis with the collar. All he lacked were the rhinestones. Dear God.
But Jeffrey? *seethes* Oooh. Do I ever want to see him crash and burn. I so did not want him to win tonight so he could consider himself vindicated. Of course, if he hadn't won, he probably would've whined about how he should've, so maybe at least we're spared some of the whining next week.

*wince* Oh, geez, I hope not. But you're probably right.

"Gee, too bad Angela doesn't get to be with us in Paris...NOT!"
"I bet she and her loser mom are weeping in each other's arms right now, oh boo-hoo-hoo!"
and then...
"Kayne's clothing looks like a dog threw up."
"Vincent...what a loser!"
"Laura -- more like Bore-a."
"Uli -- another reason for immigration control."
etc.
etc.

I can hear it already.

The only decent outfit that Angela did was the one she co-designed with Laura and Michael. That was cute, but it was mostly their doing.
Kayne did have rhinestones, actually-- on his belt buckle. :-P

I loved Laura's dress and Michael's outfit, and while I didn't care for Jeffrey's myself, I do respect that he did what the challenge required, and did it 110%. He has a point of view, which is to my mind ugly, but then again, this is the show that made Santino and Jay household names, and their clothing was unfailingly hideous.
Final 3 at this point? Michael, Laura or Uli, and Jeffrey. Kayne goes home next.

Yup. That move to Paris made the step up visceral and sadly, Angela was out of her league.
I'm afraid that may be true for Kayne as well, tho I like him.
I'm rooting for Michael who seems to be the most versatile, not to mention a really nice guy. His mom raised him well.

And yeah, Jeffrey's outfit was hideous, and also looked poorly constructed. I don't think she finished the seams on his t-shirt and the stitching on the collar of his jacket looked all ruched and irregular. And again, sausage casing. Still, he did get his point across.

I would LOVE for Jeffrey to get hit by a bus. I have rarely had such an instantaneous and visceral dislike of anyone in my life.

I kept thinking about what Kayne could have done differently-- I think if he'd listened when Tim came in and looked at it mid-project, and kept his appliques to just what was on the cuffs that would have been a touch of color, but not enough to be obnoxious. I also think he shouldn't have tucked in the shirt, maybe cut the bottom weskit-style or with curved tails. He definitely needed to do something different with the pants-- they were too tight, and he should have cut them with straight legs rather than flaired. Maybe a drawstring waist and patch pockets to make them more casual and trendy. And he definitely should've left off the rhinestone belt, it would have helped.
