This seems like a minor problem when I compare it to things happening in the lives of friends, but minor as it is, it is driving me nuts. For some reason, I can no longer access my favorite radio station on Windows Media Player. (Actually, I can't get it on WinAmp either.) I am going into withdrawal. I need my KUNC! Would any of you who are technogoddesses or technogods care to see if you can get http://www.kunc.org to play? Every time I try, I get a message that "Windows Media Player cannot play any items in this playlist. For additional information, right-click an item that cannot be played, and then click Error Details." and under details I get:

!An error has occurred in the script on this page
IE Script Error
Line: 197
Character: 3
Error: Could not complete the operation due to error c00d1329
Code: 0
URL: http://windowsmedia.com/radiotunder/myradio.asp?version=9.0.0.3075$WMPFriendly=true&locale=409&list=1
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Any idea how I can make this stop happening so I can hear my station again?

radio shmadio

I had a similar problem with my beloved KDRadio (which has changed to www.kdsk.com) -- I had to uninstall Windows Media Player and reinstall an earlier version of it -- I got it here, from the station director:

Thanks for listening.  Go to my website
WesternGhostTowns.com (OldiesMusicRadio.com) and you
will find a link on the first page to Media Player
downloads.  Several choices will be offered.  I
suggest 7.1.  This should do the trick.  If it
doesn't, you might have to go to "add/remove programs"
on your computer and remove media player 9 first, then
download the "new" media player.

Thank you, I'll try that! I had looked for an older version on the WindowsMedia website but hadn't been able to find one.

When this happened to me last year, it was because the station had added new ads/animated graphics which required me to download an upgrade for my player. For ads! Bah. I was not happy, but I had to have my station.

Well, KUNC is a public radio station so I don't think that's the problem. :-D

You could try writing the webmaster at KUNC -- you can't be the only Internet listener who is having this trouble -- perhaps they know a workaround (as did the guy at KMIN) for their specific situation!

I did that, and he suggested uninstalling Media Player, then reinstalling it and running the latest updates, which I had already done once, but apparently it didn't take the first time, because I did it again and voila, I have radio again!
