I stopped at the local Panera on my way to work to get coffee and a scone and saw something that made me boggle. Two guys pulled up in their SUV, got out, both holding laptops, and cups of coffee and pastries, clearly from some other place of business. They then proceeded into the Panera, commandeered a table, sat down and opened up their laptops and proceeded to access the internet on Panera's free wireless. My jaw dropped. I mean... I just could never do that. If you're going to go in a restaurant and use the wireless access they provide free to you at their own cost, you should buy your coffee and pastry there.
And that got me to wondering if I'm alone in finding that tacky, so therefore my first-ever poll:
[Poll #1158038]
Oh, and clearly I'm not boycotting today. I guess I just can't find it in me to object to a business acting like... a business.
