I have our new year's eve feast ready to go-- fondue Bourguignonne (meat in hot oil), swiss fondue (imported emmental and gruyere, and a nice German trocken riesling for the liquid) and of course, chocolate fondue for dessert (using a 60% Spanish dark chocolate combined with a little Callebaut 80% unsweetened). ardent_muses makes it up here for dinner, but she wasn't feeling well this morning so she may not. Still, the housemate will be there, and Kham and three of his friends so it will still be festive. Just not as fun for me without Ardent. For midnight I have an Asti for those who like sweet wines, and either a prosecco or a rouge royale (I think that's what it was called, never had it, it just looked interesting) for those wanting something a little less sweet.
I hope all of you have a wonderful new year celebration tonight, and a wonderful new year thereafter. May your cares be few and your delights plentiful.
