You're not alone in being fascinated by stuff like this. It's really an amazing picture! So clear and far more detail than anything I've seen. I'm glad you shared.
I'm a sucker for these stories too. I watch all the "Haunted" shows on Travel Channel and other networks. I almost wanted to book a stay in one of the haunted hotels, but I'd have to be with someone and this is one time I'd insist on sharing a bed.
Thanks for posting; I usually check CNN but didn't today.
I am a major sucker for all those discovery/travle/history channel shows on haunted castles, etc. I love that stuff. And Hampton Court is one of my favorite places. I am kind of a skeptic but as they say on the X files, I Want to Believe.
We'd both be hiding under the covers. Of course, this must be one of the places that has the playful or friendly ghosts. Not a mean one. I'm not that curious. I love kids. Maybe child ghosts, but then I find those very sad. ;)
I know I'm commenting late to this. Perhaps a little distraction from your pet woes might help a tad? I looked at the photo before I read the piece. My first thought was, "Oh, they put the wrong picture with this piece. That's a blurry photo of Michael Jackson leaving the court house." [g?]

This is just so cool.
I need to go embrace my geekdom now

I've always wanted to stay at a haunted place but only with someone who would appreciate my fear/facination!

"What was that?"
"What?"
"That!"
"EEEEEEEEE"
