Bones season opener + random politics

Okay, well. How shall I put this...

Wow. After that, after that, I think Bones is off my TV-viewing A-list. Gah. Could we have included any more offensive "Ugly American" cliches? Not to mention the ugly relationship antics. And the 'Everyone in Britain talks like an RSC alumnus.' I just pretty much hated all two hours of it. Gah. I may watch an ep or two more but if they don't improve, I am done with it.

In other RL news, I've seen this several places now so I chose this site's edition kind of at random: a view of Sarah Palin from someone who's known her a while. (Warning: if you're pro-Palin you probably wanna skip it.)

Thanks for the link. My sister-in-law lives in Alaska; all that she'd say to my husband about Palin was that she was an "interesting" choice, with that edge in her voice that said she had a lot more to say but not a lot of time to say it in (she was running low on her cell phone battery.)

I'm having a hard time deciding who to vote for this year; politically, I'm a moderate, and in situations where there's no real clear choice to me (I dislike both major parties' candidates pretty equally), I become more disillusioned with the process.

I'd love to know more about what your SIL thinks, if her cell-phone recovers.

For me, too often, elections are more a matter of who I am voting against than who I am voting for.
